Police arrested a motorbike taxi man who snatched a bag of a bar girl. He claimed she is a girlfriend and just wanted to get back together.

Mr. Smatcha Boonlum (27), from Nakorn-rachasima, was intoxicated during the arrest. Police confiscated the motorbike and a bag with the contents of 3,000 baht and some documents. Mr. Smatcha profession is a motorbike taxi man in front Moo Ban Rungland, South Pattaya. He claimed that the owner of the bag is his girlfriend. He snatched her bag because he wanted to draw her attention as they had a conflict earlier. He did not mean to rob her. Police did not believe him and took him to police station for further investigation.

Police requested Mrs. Supoonthip, the sufferer the meet Mr. Smatcha at police station. They started a serious argument once they saw each other. Mrs. Supoonthip told police that she has been living with Mr.Smatcha for more than four years and has always had a row. Many months ago, Mr. Smatcha was drunk as it is his usual habit. He started to have a go at her as he was jealous that there were foreign customers were flirting with her.

A few days ago, he beaten her up, then she decided to finish the relationship with him. Mr. Smatcha would not let go, then she had to go to stay with one of her colleagues.

Until the night of the incident, Mrs. Supoonthip encountered with Mr. Smatcha again. He was in his drunken manner. He tried to get back with her and wanted to take her back home, but she refused and that caused the big argument again. Suddenly, Mr. Smatcha snatched her bag and rode away, then she decided to report to the police.

However, Mrs Supoonthip did not press charge Mr. Smatcha as she is still attached to him. At the end they had a good talk and reconciled to each other. They apologized to the police and went back home together.
