Attention is one of the most important elements of the ability to cognize the human world, but it does not belong to an independent process, as it is not in itself a psychic phenomenon. The properties of attention are individual, but if desired they can be trained and strengthened.

Attention combines the intellectual and sensory processes of the brain, contribute to the concentration and study of any object or phenomenon. In psychology, species and the main properties of attention are widely used to improve the ability to learn and perceive information in children and adults.

Very often students are poorly trained and cannot correctly do writing thesis because of their diffuse attention. Among all the processes that are inherent in the human psyche, attention is special. It permeates all of them and it is almost impossible to spot one’s attention in its pure form. Our attention distinguishes from a variety of individual feelings and external impressions, undoubtedly, affects memory and thinking, but in itself does not have a separate result. In this case, the usual inattention can ruin any successful business.

When you develop your attention, you may notice improvements in memory and thinking. This is especially noticeable on the results of studies in students because often enough children with a school program do not cope with their reduced attention.

So what to do and how to deal with it? A few writing tips:

1. Begin watching yourself

The weak ability to concentrate can be expressed differently. One can not listen attentively to what he is talking about. Another constantly interferes with the noise that dominates around it. At beginning, analyze yourself. Set when you cannot concentrate. What channels of perception, in front of all, are affected by this? How can you explain it? The more often you observe yourself, the more accurately you will select methods and exercises to improve your ability to concentrate in any task such as writing a good research paper.

2. Take for one thing

Many people prefer to deal with several things at the same time. So, having pressed a shoulder to the ear of a telephone handset, talk with the client, while typing on the computer the text of a business letter or doing essay writing and listening to the advice of a colleague who is sitting next to him.

What happens to the brain? To a lesser extent, one of the cases in this approach is not possible to qualitatively complete, the brain does not have time to perceive both this amount of information and handle it. We will be able to improve the quality of our attention if we deal with only one thing. After all, the concentration is to keep the attention on one object, rather than spray on several. You can fully concentrate only when you are doing one thing.

3. Follow your biorhythm

At what time of day do you feel in the highest degree of activity, and when you experience passivity and decline of forces? During the day we can feel the alternation of lifting and decay of forces. So, do not worry about things that require the highest concentration, then, when you are the ablest and active.

4. Plan everything!

Concentration means focusing only on one object, process or activity. This will help you build a plan that will organize the whole range of tasks and responsibilities that must be performed. This may be a plan for a day, week or month. “What, when and after what will I do?” Just after completing one task and noticing its execution, you can go to the next one. Also enter the time when you would like to do one or another job.
