Vietnamese Fishing Boat Caught In Thai Gulf

The Navy have caught a Vietnamese fishing boat after it was fishing illegally in Thai waters.

PATTAYA-January 31, 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; VADM.Sucheep Wangmaitree-commander of the Royal Thai Navy Region 1- ordered CAPT.Samreng Chanso-deputy chief of staff of Navy region 1- to lead 2 ships to inspect a Vietnamese fishing boat in Thai gulf after they were notified that they were fishing illegally Thai waters to catch sea slugs to sell in China.

 

Initially the officers detained the captain, 16 crew and 4 Thais. They sent them to the police station to be prosecuted for invading and fishing in Thai waters. Also they sent the 4 Thais to the Ministry of social development and human security for help.
