Update: Police Man Killed By Car In Pattaya

Police commander and officers attended the funeral ceremony of the police man who was killed by a car.

PATTAYA – Recently- [Pattaya Daily News] regarding to Pol.Lt.Pradit Sisuwan 55 year old deputy traffic inspector of Pattaya police station who was killed by a car on a Pattaya road. The car fled away from the scene but later caught by the police, the driver denied it was him who had killed the policeman.

On 7 January at 16.00 pm, Pol.Lt.Gen.Thanet Pinmuangngam-police commander- chaired the funeral ceremony of the policeman at wat Nong Yai temple. There were police officers and the deceased family attending the ceremony.

 

Pol.Col.Suppatee revealed that the police arrested the owner of a car that was suspected as being the car which struck and killed the officer. The investigation team found scratches on the car and a blood stain on the wheel. However, the driver still rejected the allegation and claimed that it was an old stain from accident a long time ago. He told officers that he just went back to his home after work. Initially, the police released the man because he was just a suspect. However the officers can summon him at any time if they find more evidence which identifies him as the killer. Officers asked witnesses to come forward urgently as the incident was not recorded on CCTV.

The family of the police man will be given 10,000 baht as help and the policeman would be honored and recognised to be Pol.Maj.Col. His son will also be welcomed to the police in the future if he decides to become a police officer.​
