Under Aged Girls Rescued By Police

Deputy Superintendent of Pattaya City mobilized police teams to raid a karaoke shop on Thep Prasit Road after they were informed that under aged girls were offering sexual services there.

PATTAYA – May 17,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Sakchai Janla (Deputy Inspector of Pattaya city police station, Chon Buri province) was informed that a karaoke shop named Rak Jang which is located at no. 119/21 Soi 8 Thep Prasit, Moo 12 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province, had hired an under aged girl to sell sexual services. He then mobilized a police team to raid the shop.

 

The police then sent in an undercover agent to ask for sexual services from the 15-year-old girl for 1,500 THB. Once the transaction took place the police showed up and arrested the owner who was identified as Miss Wisakha Luesaen, aged 31, Khon Kaen resident.

The police also found out that in a rented room called Charoensuk Home which is located near the karaoke shop was Miss Koy (alias), aged 15. The police then picked her up before taking her to the police station for questioning.

 

Upon questioning Miss Wisakha (the karaoke shop owner) she confessed that the under aged girls were brought to her by Miss Wisakha’s who is an acquaintance to work as prostitutes in her karaoke shop but she didn’t know that they were under the age of 18 years old. The police then charged Miss Wisakha with allegations of human trafficking to seek benefit via prostitution and opening a massage parlour without permission. She was then sent to the inquiry official at Pattaya city police station to be prosecuted further according to the Thai law. As for the under aged girls they are now receiving treatment for social workers.
