Ufun Store Cheats Actress

A Former actress notified police after she had been cheated out of 35,000 THB. She had invested the money with the Ufun store who were running a pyramid scheme.

PATTAYA-6th May- [PattayaDailyNews] According to the case that the Ufun Store which was running a pyramid scheme had cheated about 120,000 victims out of about 38,000 million baht. The police  expected that it was linked to a transnational crime network over 3 countries, Ms.Chanita Supaphan who was former Chanel  7  actress and  Ms.Suthawadee Tummanon who was her friend decided to notify the police after they had been cheated.


Upon questioning Ms.Chanita she said that her friend convinced her to invest with the Ufun Store and she put in  35,000 baht at the end of January. Later she found out that it was run by a  transnational crime gang so she and her friend decided to notify the police.


Pol.Col.Pramote Ngampradit-superintendent of Nong Prue police station- said that the officers initially questioned the victim and collected evidence in order to hand it over to the  Consumer Protection Police Division so that it can be investigated further.


In addition a further 15 victims  had contacted  the police at  Nong Prue police station that they had also been cheated out of around  805,000 baht.
