Transgender Woman Tricked By Fake Photographer

A transgender woman who met a man in walking street who pretended to be a photographer and offered her 15,000THB for her photos was tricked by him. He stole her phone and money.

PATTAYA – April 4,2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at night of April 4, Pol.Col.Suphachai Phuikaeokam, director of Pattaya police station was notified that a man had tricked a victim to be a model and stole her property It happened in a wedding dress rental store, called Jaosao, number 124/65, traffic light junction of third road, South Pattaya, Moo 10, Nongprue, Banglamung, so the police went to the crime scene.

At the crime scene the police found the shop owner a Miss Punyawee Sittijarernyos, 41 years old. She told police that in the evening the suspect brought a transgender woman to the shop, and the suspect took pictures for a cost of 6,000 baht. The man told the transgender woman to try on every dress in the shop. The victim’s name was identified as Mr Jakkrit Tasuwarn, 23 years old. The suspect then told her to go out and buy some new shoes because her shoes were not beautiful enough. The girl then went out with a staff of the shop and left her bag, the man pretended he was going for a walk but never came back. When the girl came back she looked in her bag and found that her Iphone 5s and some money had been taken and realised that she had been tricked.

Upon questioning the Mr.Jakkrit, the victim, she said that she met the man in walking street South Pattaya, and he told her that she looked good and asked her if she wanted to do some modelling and he would pay her get 15,000 baht.
The man took her to the shop and claimed that he was the owner. After the incident happened she asked the staff if they knew him and they said no. The police used the photos to search for him and will arrest him to punish him according to Thai law.
