Tomboy Tricked and Raped in a Pattaya Grove

A tomboy was raped in a grove by a male teenager on the side of Sukhumvit road. He had tricked her to the spot by saying his motorbike was there and he could give her a lift home.

PATTAYA – May 3, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 5.30 a.m.; Pol.Lt. Jakkrit Jantakham (Investigation officer of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) was notified that a woman was raped and ran to ask for assistance from the local people in front of a convenience store at the beginning of Soi Nern Phlab Wan, Moo 5 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, so he rushed to inspect the scene together with the detective police team.

When the officers arrived at the scene the police found a tomboy named Miss A (alias), aged 21, Buriram resident. She was using a poster to cover her badly bruised body.

Upon questioning Miss A, she told the police that before incident occurred Miss Yu, who is her friend had called her and persuaded her to go and drink at Kaewta Café in Jomtien Pattaya. While Miss A was drinking with Miss Yu Mr Nut (Miss Yu’s friend) joined them for a drink and after a short while Miss Yu went back home. Mr Nut then said to Miss A he would take her homw but his motorbike was parked near Sutthawat temple so they both got on a motorbike taxi to go and get his motorbike.

But when they arrived at Nong Or temple then Mr. Nut told Miss A that his elder brother had taken his motorbike and they will have to wait for him to bring it back. While they were waiting for Mr. Nut started acting suspiciously and suddenly he dragged Miss A into a grove and took off her clothes and raped her but Miss A resisted and fought back and kicking him off. After that Miss A used an advertisement poster to cover her body and ran away to ask for assistance from local people.

After initial investigation then the police made note record for evidence and will send a detective police team to follow up and arrest the rapist so he can be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.
