Thai Guides Complain About Illegal Guides

A group of Pattaya Thai guides gathered to complained to the police about illegal tours guides who exploiting them.

PATTAYA – June 18,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 09.00 am reporters revealed that a group of Thai guides who were led by Mr Paisasrn Suethanawong had assembled on Pattaya beach opposite the Amari hotel in North Pattaya to complained to police that a foreigner had illegally worked as a guide in Pattaya.

 

In addition, they had seen the Chinese tour guide walking some Chinese tourists around so the Thai guides asked the police to catch him which caused them to argue but the police intervened to calm the situation down.

Later the Thai guides went to meet Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang-superintendent of Pattaya police station who ordered the police to arrest the illegal foreign guide. Mr Paisarn added that there are many illegal guides such as Russian, Chinese and Indian. Plus the illegal guides have fake ID cards.

 

Pol.Col.Suktad revealed that the police officers intended to deal with the situation but the police officers wouldn’t be able to arrest all the illegal workers. However, the police will have to question the Thai guides more so they can gather more information about the illegal guides so they can be arrested.

The reporters also added that the Thai guides went to Pattaya City Hall to file a complaint with Mr Ronnakit Aekasing-deputy mayor of Pattaya- before they all went home.
