Teenager Shot In Drive By Shooting

Two Pattaya male teenagers were shot at by rivals who were riding in the opposite direction , luckily no one died but one of them was hit in the leg.

PATTAYA – March 1, 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Peeraphat Sornbootdee (Deputy Superintendent of Nong Prue police station, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province) was notified that a male teenager had been shot and injured near a construction materials shop located at the beginning of Soi 25, Pornpraphanimit road, Moo 3 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province, and he had already been sent to Banglamung hospital treatment.

 

When Pol.Lt. Peeraphat Sornbootdee arrived at an emergency room at Banglamung hospital he found the injured victim who was identified as Mr. Wachirawit To-lang, aged 18, residing at house no. 36/4 Moo 5 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province. He had suffered a gunshot wound to his left groin.

 

Upon questioning the victims friend he told the police that while he was riding his motorbike back home with Mr. Wachirawit To-lang 2 male teenagers riding in the opposite direction the passenger took out a gun and shot at them hitting Mr. Wachirawit’s in his groin. He then quickly called his friends and took Mr. Wachirawit to Banglamung hospital.

 

The detective police team will question the injured victim and his friends in order to find the cause of the shooting. The police assumed that the shooting was linked with a rival group who they had issues with. However, the police will follow up any information so they can arrest the culprits and prosecute them further according to the Thai law.
