Street Walkers Raided

Pattaya police cracked down street walkers around city.

PATTAYA-3 March-[PattayaDailyNews]; at 08.00 Pol Col Apichai Krobpetch, chief of Pattaya police, and police officers raided street walkers in Pattaya.

 

The officers patrolled Pattaya beach, Walking Street and other venues and the officers could arrest 40 women from Uganda and 6 Thai street walkers. In addition, 5 beggars and 4 drug dealers were caught.

 

Pol Col Apichai Krobpetch, chief of Pattaya police, revealed that this crackdown is a policy of gov in order to get rid of the crime and maintain the good image of Pattaya city.

 

Initially, the officers recorded the incident and fined Thai suspects before releasing Thais, while the officers fined Uganda nationals were fined as same rate and copied their passport. Plus, the officers revealed that these people immigrated in Thailand as student visa.
