Stolen Motorbike ReturnedPattaya police have arrested a karaoke shop employee who was caught riding a stolen motorbike.
PATTAYA – July 13,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 11.30 p.m., while Pol.Sen.Sgt.Maj. Sansern Chuea-sa-wat and Pol.Sen.Sgt.Maj. Rapeephat Phrommibar (Squad Leader of Traffic Section, Pattaya city police station) were on duty on Thappraya road, they spotted 2 male teenagers riding a motorbike in a suspicious manner so they ordered them to stop. They then quickly fled to escape the scene. The police then radioed other officers to stop them. Shortly after the bike was stopped by police but the passenger had already fled. The rider was identified as Mr. Wongsakorn Sumarn, aged 19, who was an employee of a karaoke shop in Pattaya.
Mr. Wongsakorn Sumarn was then arrested and sent to Pattaya city police station for further questioning and the police found out that the motorbike was reported stolen on July 11th, 2015. Mr. Wongsakorn was then sent to the inquiry official in order to be prosecuted according to the Thai law and the motorbike was then returned to its owner.
