Seized War Weapons Linked To 6 Thai Men In The USA

The CSD (Crime Suppression Division, Thai Police) were able to seize war weapons that are believed to link to the 6 Thai’s that were arrested by US police a few days ago. The weapons that were seized by the CSD matched the weapons that were seized by US police, making it more likely that the weapons belonged to the 6 Thai’s.

BANGKOK – June 7, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; At 3.30 PM, Various police directors and commanders of the Royal Thai Police raided a house where it was believed to have weapons hidden in at. The house owner was identified as 42 year-old Mr. Narit Lekakul, one of the six suspects that were captured in the US.

After carefully inspecting the 3 storey house, police were able to find various war weapons, which included handguns, snipers, rifles and weapons that originated from World War 2. Gun magazines and other equipment was found as well. The 2 alien care-takers of the house were taken to the police station as well, they told the police that Mr. Narit didn’t live at this house anymore.

Police Maj. General Supissal said that the Commander in Chief of the Royal Thai Police ordered the CSD to raid the house, as it was suspected to have weapons hidden in the house. The Royal Thai Police cooperated with the agencies and police forces from the USA after the 6 Thai’s were arrested in the US after being suspected of exporting weapons. Mr. Narit Lekakul was the head of the gang, who was arrested at the Seattle Airport on June 3rd. Therefore, the CSD tracked down Mr. Narit’s and the other gang member’s houses in hopes to find more evidence.

Police Maj. General Supissal also said that the CSD investigated before Mr. Narit’s import and export company, before they raided his house. Initially, no weapons were found at the company, but police were still suspicious of a few things, as computers and various objects were dispatched earlier, which lead to the raid of Mr. Narit’s house, that was mentioned earlier.

Lastly, Police Maj. General said that the house that was raided was used as a safe house for over 3 years, officers said that the different gun magazines and weapon parts matched the ones that were seized in the USA.

6 Thai’s Arrested By US Police After Illegally Selling Weapons

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that 6 Thai people were running an illegal business together. They were arrested after the broke US laws regarding the trade of weapons, the Thai government assisted the US with the arrest.
