Security Guard Dead After Having Lack Of Oxygen

A security guard of Central Festival Pattaya Beach was found dead after cleaning a water-well

PATTAYA – May 22, 2013[pdn]; At around 10.00 PM, Police Lt. Puksa Detpakkul of Pattaya police station was informed by the Pattaya Memorial Hospital that there was an injured and passed away at the hospital. The incident happened at the Central Pattaya Beach shopping mall. As soon as the incident was reported, police were sent out to investigate

When the police arrived at Pattaya Memorial’s emergency room, they found the body of Mr. Suradet Noochpong, age 37, a security guard employed by G4S. His body was reported to be extremely worn off. Police believed that he has already been dead for over an hour. The injured man was identified as Mr. Seksan Kumsuwan, age 25, he now is in a stable and safe state.

After questioning Mr. Seksan Kumsuwan, police found out that a manager of the shopping mall ordered the security guard to clean a waste water pipe that was 5 metres deep. Since there was a big amount of carbon dioxide in the pipe, he couldn’t breath making him suffocate and fall down the waste water. His colleague who was reported to injured as well tried to help him, but he injured himself so he couldn’t help his drowning friend. When the security guard was pulled out of the water, he was immediately sent to Pattaya Memorial Hospital, were he died moments later at.

The manager who ordered the security guard to clean the waste water pipe was questioned by the police as well. Witnesses has also been questioned by the police. Police are now investigating and will report further movements
