Sattahip Employee Caught on CCTV Stealing a Pickup & Laptops.

An employee of a leasing shop in Sattahip was caught after stealing his employer's pickup truck and 4 laptops. He was arrested with the vehicle at a gas station in Prajuabkeereekhan and confessed that the theft resulted form his poor family not having a transport to carry watermelons to sell in the South.

Sutthahip, 15 August 2011, At 2 P.M. (PDN) Pol. Somchai Soonthawanik, Satthahip Superintendent along with his team arrest, The suspect, Mr Usel Hongtong of Bangsapa, age 22, is accused of stealing his employer’s Isuzu D Max Super Platinum pickup and four laptop computers.

Mr Sathit Phunuch, age 50, the owner of Sathit Leasing Shop, Chonburi reported to Satthahip police that his employee had stolen stolen the items. The CCTV captured images of the suspect while committing the crime.

Pol. Capt. Komwut Damrongpokapan said the suspect was arrested with the Isuzu and a laptop as he was waiting for his friend. The other three laptops were taken to a pawn shop in Banpaw Samutsakorn for 2,000 THB each.

The victim gave a reward to the police & thanked them for arresting the suspect, returning his vehicle and the computer.
