PATTAYA-5 April- [PattayaDailyNews] the police were notified that the body of Mr.Gusev Fedor aged 32 from Russia was found dead in a room of Phon house apartment located on Arunothai road. Initially, Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang-superintendent of Pattaya police station- expected that the suspects were Russian guys who were friends of the deceased and they also expected that the cause of murder was quarrelling because of a private issue.

On April 6th at 15.00 pm, the police officers had together made a statement about the arrest of Mr.Roman Chernykh aged 21 and Mr.Akbar Mamasadykov aged 20 both Russian nationals and were charged with murder.

Pol.Maj.Gen Nitipong Niemnoi-commander- revealed that he had ordered the officers to investigate the case when the officers caught Mr.Roman on Jomtien beach before they took him to police station for questioning. Initially, they still protested that they were innocent but the officers pressured them until they confessed that they were the murderers. They claimed that the deceased always shouted at them when he was drunk which caused them to decide to kill him.

However, the rumour that this case was involved with a mafia gang was just a rumour because they all travelled into Thailand as tourists. They had previously rented a house before they all fled because they had no money to pay for it so they rented 2 rooms in the apartment. However, a third Russian man was innocent and travelled back to Russia already.

After questioning, the police officers took them to perform a re-enactment at the crime scene and prosecuted them according to Thai law.
