Russian Member Caught Red Handed in Sattahip

A Russian man who was the head of a gang in Russia and was wanted in connection of kidnapping and over 60 murders was arrested outside Big C in Bang Saray. He denied the allegations and was sent back to Russia by INTERPOL.

SATTAHIP – June 25, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- Pol.Gen.Wut Liptapallob made a statement about the arrest of Mr Alexander Matusov who was the head of Russian gang called CHELKOVO . He has escaped to Thailand in September 2010 to hide from Russian authorities and was being sort by INTERPOL for kidnapping and murder. He had kidnapped a Russian businessman and was also involved in about 60 murder cases all over Russia.

 

Previously the Russia embassy of Thailand had notified the Thai authorities to arrest him. The police searched for him and arrested him in front of Big C in Bang Saray, Chonburi on June 23rd.

 

The arrested was identified as a Mr Alexander Matusov who confessed that he was on the run and INTERPOL were looking for him but he refused the allegations and said that hadn’t done anything wrong. However the officers cancelled his right to stay in Thailand and sent him back to his own country.
