Rayong Female Millionaire Released After Being Kidnapped

A female millionaire clothes shop owner was tied up by 3 males who then forced her to tell them where she kept her valuables. After they stole some brand name handbags, an iPhone 5 , some other property and the CCTV they then bundled her into a car and kidnapped her.

RAYONG – March 16, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Pol.Lt.Col. Narong Muangthong (Investigation officer of Mueang Rayong police station) was notified that robbers had stolen property from a brand name clothes shop named “Duean” which is located on the side of Sukhumvit road, Tambon Nern Phra, Amphur Mueang, Rayong Province and they had kidnapped the female owner.Pol.Lt.Col. Narong reported Pol.Col. Sukitti Sawaikiet (Superintendent of Mueang Rayong police station) and rushed to inspect at the crime scene together with Pol.Lt.Col. Manit Boonmalert (Deputy Superintendent), Pol.Lt.Col. Therdsak Nontaphanphiphat (Deputy Superintendent), Pol.Lt.Col. Nakrit Jairakrean (Inspector) and the police team.

At the incident was the 3-storied-building, 2 units, address 292-292/1 on the side of Sukhumvit road, Tambon Nern Phra, Amphur Mueang, Rayong Province, the officers found that the front door of the shop was locked from inside and between the 2 doors there was a small hole so the officers went through this hole to go inside the shop and found 2 young startled women who were the shop’s employees named Miss Lalita Thodkhamsai, aged 23 and Miss Ying, aged 19, both of them were the Burmese people. Upon questioning Miss Ying, the police perceived that at around 11.00 a.m. while Miss Lalita and Mrs. Thor-roong Siriwatthanakosit or Duean, aged 49, who was the clothes shop owner were working in the shop, Mrs. Duean told Miss Lalita to take a cup of coffee to the back of the shop for her. Mrs. Duean was at the front shop with Miss Ying then suddenly there were 3 men, aged approximately 20, came inside the shop and locked the necks of Mrs. Duean and Miss Ying then the other man forced them to give him all the keys to the shop, he then locked the front door of the shop. Then Miss Lalita walked from the back of the shop and was punched in her stomach by one of the men. He then took out shotgun to threaten them. After the 2 men tied the 3 victims’ hands together and blind folded them. The 3 men then dragged Miss Ying and Mrs. Duean to Mrs. Duean’s bedroom on the 3rd floor and searched for her property which Mrs. Duean had pleaded with them to spare her life and let them take her property which consisted of 2 brand name handbags, iPhone5 and Miss Lalita’s mobile phone and some other property. The robbers also took the CCTV away with them and forced Mrs. Duean to open the safe but Mrs. Duean told them that she could not open the safe so the robbers said that if she could not open the safe then she had to go with them and dragged into a silver bronze Honda city car, license no. Kor Khor 6 Rayong, which belonged to Mrs. Duean. After the robbers left the 2 Burmese employees untied their hands and called the police. While the incident occurred Mrs. Duean’s husband named Mr. Prajuab Rattanakate had taken their daughter to Bangkok and when he knew about the incident so he rushed back to Rayong province. There was the report that the robbers drove the car in the direction of Pattaya , Chonburi province.

Later at 5.00 p.m. Pol.Maj.Gen. Somnuek Boorami (Commander of Rayong Provincial Police Station) said that he was informed that 3 culprits, aged approximately 20, kidnapped Miss Thor-roong and they stole 1 gold necklace , 1 gold Buddha image and 1 mobile phone which on the way Miss Thor-roong attempted to negotiate with the teenage kidnappers that if they wanted any property, she would give them everything but please don’t assault or kill her and when arrived at Tesco Lotus, Pattaya city, the kidnappers agreed to drive the car back to U-Ta Phao airport, Amphur Ban Chang, Rayong Province where the 3 kidnappers got out and let Miss Thor-roong drive back home.

An informed source revealed that Miss Thor-roong is not only a well known clothes shop owner but she also deals in real estate mortgaging to buy land with the right of redemption and one customer had brought the title deed to be mortgaged via Miss Thor-roong for the price of 10 million THB and she had a problem with this mortgagee so the title deed’s owner ordered the 3 culprits to get back his title deed but because Miss Thor-roong didn’t open the safe they kidnapped her. She is now being investigated further by the police.
