Pregnant Pattaya Woman Throws A “Ya-Ice” Party

A 8-months pregnant woman feels lonely, so she calls two close friends to have a ya-ice party and play cards in her rental room. The trio is arrested and 1.46 grams of methamphetamive is seized as evidence.

Pattaya, December 23, 2011[Pattaya Daily News]; Pol. Lt. Pallop Ringrod, Pattaya police, Chonburi province was notified by an undercover agent about a group of women consuming drugs in a rented room at KRN apartment in Soi Setthi, South Pattaya, Banglamung.

Arriving at the scene, the police found three women playing cards and consuming methamphetamines “ya-ice”. The three were arrested. A small, clear plastic bag containing ya-ice and drug paraphernelia was seized.

The three suspects are: Ms. Jiraporn Janthavong age, 30 address 72/2 Soi 15 Tambon Pakpreaw, Saraburi province who was eight months pregnant and the tenant of the room. And her friends: Ms. Vassana Pitaksongkram age, 29 address; 494 Anaknark road, Kalasin, Kalasin province and Ms. Thanyapat Artskool age, 29 address; 141 Moo 10, Amphur Maywadee, Roi-et province.

After searching the room and conducting a body search of the three suspects the police found three small bags of ya-ice (weight 1.46 g) hidden on them.

Ms. Jiraporn said that she has a foreign husband who is working overseas. Ms Jiraporn felt lonely so she called her two close friends to come and play cards with her in her room. Since they also like to do drugs they bought 2 grams of ya-ice worth 5,000 THB from a friend.

The police arrested all of the suspects. They were detained and brought to Pattya police station to be investigated and prosecuted according to the law.
