Police Reveals Kanchananburi “Killing” Is Due To Drug Dealing

The case regarding the Thai man who was taken from Kanchananburi to be shot in Pattaya but survived is being investigated. Huay Yai police already know the suspects and are requesting permission from the court to arrest the criminals who are known drug dealers.

At midnight August 19, 2011 Mr Suriyavuth Luerprasong aged 32 address: 18/61 Moo 1 Tambon Bangsrimuang, Amphur Muang, Nonthaburi together with Mr Sakda, aka “A” were taken from a restaurant in Kanchanaburi by four men and driven by car to Huay Yai, Bang-lamung. As the negotiations failed the criminals shot Mr Suriyavuth three times wounding him in the chest and the arm.

Pattaya (August 20, 2011) PDN, Police Lieutenant Colonel Paksuwat Chomtanom said the police know the criminals and ask the Pattaya provincial court, case: 528/2554 of August 20 to issue an arrest warrant.

Mr Panya or ” Ya” Karanut aged 40 address: 29/39 Moo 7 Tambon Bangkuwat, Amphur Muang, Pathumtani province.

Mr Komsun or ” Kom” Kerdkaew aged 31, address 32/1 Moo 5 Tambon Chai-na, Amphur Se-na, Pranakornsriayuddhaya province and Ms

” May” and Miss “Bo”. Only nick name known, address unknown.

As for Mr Sakda Mongkolruek aka “A” aged 33 address: 89/100 Moo 1 Tambon Bang Sri-Muang, Amphur Muang, Nontaburi province his fate is still unknown.

The investigation revealed that Mr Suriyavuth together with Mr Sakda had been taken by the four criminals because Mr Suriyavuth had several issues with Mr Panya and knew about his drug dealing. Therefore Mr Panya and his gang wanted to shoot Mr Suriavuth by but he survived. The criminals drove a Toyota vehicle license: Por Nor 4456 Bangkok and a Honda Civic license Kor Mor 1429 Bangkok. The police have asked Miss “Joe” Mr Panya’s girlfriend to verify the evidence. It’s expected that the police will be able to arrest all suspects soon.
