Police Raid Pattaya Nightclubs

A detective police team have raided two night clubs in walking street after being informed that illegal workers were working there.

PATTAYA – January 5,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 5.30 a.m., Pol.Maj. Piyaphong Aou-sarn (Tourist Police Inspector) together with forces of a detective police team had raided a nightclub named A Beach Club and Endorphin Club in Walking Street, south Pattaya, after the officers were informed that a lot of illegal workers were working there.

Upon inspecting the employees the officers found that most of them were illegal workers therefore the officers asked to inspect their work permits. They then found that 8 of them did have work permits but the employer’s name wasn’t on the work permit. The 8 workers consisted of 2 Burmese, 1 Filipino, 2 Iranians, 1 Syrian, and 2 Pakistani workers. Then the officers detained Mr. Worrawuth Sap-a-nan who was a manager of this nightclub together with 8 illegal workers before sending them to Pattaya police station for further prosecution according to the Thai law.
