Police Crack Down on Illegal Labourers

Pattaya police have cracked down on illegal labourers after they had been informed by local residents.

PATTAYA-17th October- [PattayaDailyNews] at 07.00 am Pol.Col.Pairod Rojjanakajorn- superintendent- and police officers launched a team to crack down on criminals in Pattaya.

The police officers inspected 3 labour camps. The first place was Boom Boom residence where the police officers didn’t find any illegal labourers.

Later the police officers went to inspect another camp where they found around 20 Cambodian labourers who didn’t have a work permit and were detained by police.

Pol.Maj.Col.Korakot said that the police officers were told by the villagers that there were normally lots of illegal labourers who worked as street vendors too. Plus, some of them were beggars. It’s expected that they knew the police were coming and decided to hide.
