Perfume Thief Caught In Pattaya 7-Eleven

A drunken male construction worker who stole a bottle of perfume in a convenience store in Pattaya has been arrested. He told police that he had no money and he wanted it for philandering a young woman on Pattaya beach.

PATTAYA – October 11, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.10 a.m., Pol.Capt. Saksit Khaikaew (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) was notified from an employee of a convenience store that they had caught a suspect who was stealing goods in 7-Eleven shop on Pattaya beach road, Moo 9 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, so he rushed to inspect the scene.

 

At the incident the police found Mr. Dusit Joomhom, aged 27, who is the assistant manager of the 7-Eleven , and the employees who were detaining the thief. He was identified as Mr. Pratya Chainongjok, aged 30,an Udon Thani resident and a construction worker in Pattaya city. He was caught with a bottle of Twelve Plus perfume, price 49 THB, so the police seized it for evidence.

Upon questioning Mr. Dusit (assistant manager)he said that he saw him walk into the shop and walked around looking at the cosmetics in a suspicious manner so he detained him and called the police to search him and found a bottle of perfume which was hidden in his trouser pocket. Besides, from inspecting the CCTV footage Mr. Pratya ( trouble maker) was caught stealing the the perfume.

 

Initially, Mr. Pratya confessed that he had stolen the perfume because he didn’t have enough money to buy it because he had spent it all on alcohol. However, the police charged him with shop lifting.
