PATTAYA – Recently [PattayaDailyNews] Reportedly, British news agency reported that there are around 27,000 prostitutes in Pattaya without control by official.
Mr Sinchai Wattanasartsathorn, director of PBTA, said that this article harshly affect to Pattaya tourism and image. Plus, it especially affects to attitude of travellers.
However, he admitted that Pattaya city is infamous for sex for a long time. The officials nowadays have tried to promote Pattaya city in appropriate way. It’s quite difficult to cope this mindset and it’s needed more time to change it.
Pol Col Apichai krobpetch, chief of Pattaya police, revealed that Pattaya police work hard to get rid of crime, trafficking and prostitution as well. Pattaya officials have paid attention to these issues and aim to solve them effectively.
Pol Maj Col Piyapong Ensarn, chief of Pattaya tourist police, said that the official has record and statistic of the arrest of prostitution. The officers have patrolled in public places such as beach and indoor like venue.
