Pattaya Rescuer Dies Instantly

A male rescue volunteer trainee of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Rescue Foundation has died instantly in a high speed motorcycle accident.

PATTAYA – August 17,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 4.30 a.m., Pol.Lt.Col. Somkid Sitthisart (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station, Chon Buri province) was notified that there was an accident involving a motorbike and there was one deceased and one seriously injured. The incident occurred in front of Ruean Ra Biang restaurant, Moom Aroi intersection, Pattaya 3rd road so he rushed to the scene with rescuers.

 

At scene the officers found the body of Mr Kriangkrai Wiangkham, aged 31 who was a rescue volunteer trainee of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Rescue Foundation, Pattaya city. He had had suffered a fractured skull. Near him was a yellow Honda MSX 125 motorbike which belonged to him and it had traces of being involved in a collision. Also at the scene was a black Buell bike, it also had traces of being involved in collision. The rider was identified as Mr. Supphachai Sa-don, aged 26. He had suffered severe injuries and was sent to Banglamung hospital.

Upon questioning Mr Sa-mak Wanggasa aged 27 an eyewitness he told the police that Mr. Kriangkrai ( deceased) was riding his Honda MSX 125 motorbike along central Pattaya 3rd at high speed but when he got to the incident point Mr Supphachai performed a U-turn and Mr Kriangkrai crashed into him.

 

After inspecting the scene the police took photographs for evidence and had taken the CCTV footage in and around the area of the accident to find out what really happened.
