Pattaya Officers Inspect Motorcycle Taxis Again

Pattaya officers have inspected the motorcycle taxi stations in the Pattaya again. They found some stations still need to improve and obey the rules set by the municipal offers.

PATTAYA-July 10, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 20.00 pm Lt.Col.Pattanapol Klinangkab-deputy chief of 14th military circle- was accompanied with administrative officers of Bang Lamung district, municipal officers of Pattaya and 50 police officers to inspect and control motorcycle taxis in 4 areas in Pattaya which consisted of 1.Pattaya beach road 2.Pattaya Sai 2 road 3. Pattaya Sai 3 road 4.Pattaya Klang.

 

Upon inspecting the 4 taxi stations they collected the data from 150 riders and they also found that some of the riders were drinking alcohol so the officers warned them not to drink alcohol whilst they are working.

 

In addition the stations had no board that indicated the fare so the officers ordered every station to install one. Also they told them that they need to dress in a polite uniform in order to set a good image.

 

Motorcycle taxi riders in Pattaya and Bang Lamung can still register at Pattaya City Hall until 15th July 2014.
