Pattaya Minibus Driver Hands In Bag Containing Money

A minibus driver has handed in a bag to the police that contained a lot of money. The owner of the bag left it behind after leaving the bus.

PATTAYA– October 25, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 22.00 pm Pol.Lt.Col.Patsa Detpakkul-inspector of Pattaya police station-, Pol.Lt.Chanchai Sanguansaksri-deputy inspector- revealed that Mr.Surachok Supchalerm aged 49 had collected 2,000 Rubles, 900 US dollars, 9,000 baht and some documents to send back to MISS.DARIA LABKOVSKAYA aged29 and MR.MIKHAIL AZOVSKII aged 31 after 2 Russian tourists dropped them on a minibus.

 

A couple that took a minibus of Mr.Surachok from Rungruang tour bus station to Central Festival Pattaya Beach had left a bag containing a lot of money and some documents so he decided to it to the police station in order to search for the owner.

 

The couple said that it was their first time in Pattaya and were really frightened when they knew that they had lost their bag. Later they found out that the driver had handed in the bag and to show appreciation they gave him 6,000 baht.
