Pattaya in preparations for PATA ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2006

Members of Pacific Asia Travel Association in Thailand are in preparations to welcome more than 1500 members from all over the world with an expectation to gather attention of people to come to Pattaya and to attend the conference during 23-27 April 2006 at Peach Conference Room of Royal Cliff Beach Hotel.

On 17 October 2005, at Asia Hotel, Director of Promotional Foreign Trade and Tourism Authority of Thailand, Jamlong presided over the meeting to be ready for PATA ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2006 which is held by Tourism Authority of Thailand during 23-27 April 2006 at Peach Conference room of Royal Cliff Beach Hotel.

There will be approximately 1200-1500 delegates attending the conference. The meeting is about preparations to accommodate those attendants in Pattaya. It is also concerned about the security and traffic as well as the tourism routes for those delegates. Pattaya Police Station, Chonburi Police Station and Tourist Polices are responsible in taking care of the security and to help providing directions in Pattaya for tourists.

Moreover, there will be special team watching out for bombs, with well-trained dogs from Sattahip Naval Base to inspect the event orderly. PATA ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2006 will be held by Tourism Authority of Thailand during 23-27 April 2006. The purpose of this conference is to exchange opinions and ideas and to discuss about business between Thai and foreign traders.
