PATTAYA-recently- [Pattaya DayNews] lots of areas in Thailand had suffered from a drought. Mr.Sutad Nuchpan-director of Pattaya water works- revealed that the water level in Chonburi province was still normal because it had been supported by 5 reservoirs consisting of Mab Prachan, Huay Khunvhit, Huay Saphan, Nong Klangdong and Chaknok reservoirs.

In addition, these reservoirs contained about 40 million cubic metres of water; however, there had only been a bit of rain this year so now the water level is down to only 30 million cubic metres. As a result, the officials needed to effectively manage water usage until the rainy season starts in October.
