Pattaya To Control Beach Operators

Pattaya officials have together discussed about regulation of beach operators that will be enforced soon.

PATTAYA – Recently – [Pattaya Daily News]; at Pattaya City Hall, Mr.Chaowalit Saeng-U-tai-deputy governor of Chonburi- chaired the committee conference to control and manipulate beach operators in Pattaya. Mr.Ronnakit Aekasing-deputy mayor of Pattaya- and officers attended the conference.

 

Previously, NCPO had a policy that every official unit had to reclaim the happiness for the people; therefore, Pattaya official aimed to control and manage beach operators in order to maintain cleanliness and safety for the tourists. Also, the official had announced 33 temporary rules to control operators in Pattaya beach, Jomtien beach and Ko Lan island. The regulations consisted that the beach operators have to close on Wednesday in order that the tourists could have the plain beach, the operators must not extorted over cost of renting beach umbrella or beach bed from the tourists, the operators must not sell any kinds of beverage without permission from officials and they have to put the beverage in the container box, the operators have to close if the Pattaya official need the space on the beach and etc. The official will summon the operator to realize about the regulations on 11 February 2015.

 

In addition, the officers discussed about the cleanliness of the beach after they announced it was to close on last Wednesday (14 January) because they found that there were some junk on the beach. Therefore the officials had to cope this situation.
