He has been in Thailand filming a Hollywood movie “Bangkok Dangerous” for more than 2 months. Nicholas Cage felt attached and like to work with the Thai team, he likes the surrounding and the atmosphere in the country especially on the celebration of His Majesty the King 60 year’s ascension to the throne.

During his promotion of the Hollywood Film “World Trade Center” in noon of today (12), he gave an interview to the media with the smiling and in a friendly manner.
He was very happy and feel delight to see how people love and respect their King. To him it is quite uncommon.

The Hollywood actor continued to say that although the past 2 months is not too long for him. But what he had observed made him very much admired the King and appreciate his Majesty’s work just as much as the Thai.

“For the last 2 months that I was in Thailand I could feel and am touched by the love and respect that the Thai people show to their King which is so overwhelming that I as a foreigner could feel it too”. He went on to say that his trip to do the filming in Thailand he has learned many things from the Thai, especially the manners, behavior, respect for each other, all these he could adapt and use them in his homeland.

The Movie “World Trade Center” will be shown in Thailand on 21 September in recognition of the tragedy that occurred on 9/11 at World Trade Center in New York 5 years ago.

The Oscar-winning actor takes on the lead role of real-life World Trade Center survivor, Port Authority Police Department sergeant John McLoughlin.

McLoughlin was the only one survivor out of 20 people pulled from the rubble of the Twin Towers after it fell on September 11 five years ago.

Cage said he took on the role of McLoughlin in the Oliver Stone-directed film as he wanted to use his abilities as an actor to heal.

The film tells the story of McLoughlin and Port Authority Police Department office, Jimeno who were in a team of five men who went into the buildings and were trapped when the towers collapsed.

McLoughlin and Jimeno survived but were trapped for the next 12 hours, pinned beneath concrete and twisted metal 20 feet below rubble.

To prepare for his role, Cage was said to have spent time in darkness floating in a sense deprivation tank to get a feel of what his character might have gone through.

As for Nicholas Cage he traveled to Thailand with his team work from Hollywood since last July to film the newest dramatic action movie “Bangkok Dangerous” which he purchased the copyright from the brothers “Danny – Oxide Pang”. In the Thai version the leading role was played by “Bang Powarits Mongkolpisit” and “Cream Premsinee Rattanasopa” and for the Hollywood version there are still a Thai actor & actress like Chakit Yaemname and Puey Panwad joining in.
