New SCB Branch at North Pattaya Tesco-Lotus

Pattaya’s newest branch of the “Siam Commercial Bank” (SCB) has opened on the Ground floor of the big “Tesco-Lotus” department store on Pattaya’s North Road. Long opening hours, seven days a week, with “one stop” banking facilities are just some of the advantages of banking with SCB.

Friday 23rd October 2009 [Pattaya Daily News]: – Visitors coming out of the car park at the northern end of the Tesco Lotus ground floor will notice a modern new “Siam Commercial Bank” office, complete with ATMs, currency conversion facilities and every other service that you may require. This is the nineteenth branch in Pattaya, with a staff of seven, and the Branch Manager Miss Sirinthip Anarmphong, told us that the SCB is a universal bank that opens from 11.00 am until 7.00 pm and provides a complete range of services. When asked what extra services they think that they could provide, their Eastern Seaboard Controller replied that after 0ver 100–years in the banking industry, they could not think of any extra services that they are not already providing. 

            The “Siam Commercial Bank” (SCB) is the oldest bank in Thailand, and has been operating for 103-years, with 963-branches within the Kingdom, and sixty three of these are in the Eastern Provinces of Thailand. Many of the SCB’s leading executives attended the official opening ceremony, which was presided over by Pattaya’s City Mayor, Khun Itthiphol Khunplome, and attended by other local identities.
