Muay Thai Champion Surrenders After Stabbing foreigner

A watch vendor who stabbed the Russian man injured decided to surrender the police officers. Plus, he used to be champion of Muay Thai.

PATTAYA- Recently – [Pattaya Daily News] according to the case that a watch vendor attacked Russian man who was identified as MR.IVAN CHERKASHHIN aged 22 injured and the vendor fled away on 10 January.


On 12 January at 18.30 pm, the vendor was Mr.Payu Dangsi aged 33 who was former champion of Muay Thai and he decided to surrender with the police officer.


Upon questioning him he claimed that he tried to sell the watch to the Russian man and he offered the watch for 850 baht. However the man was rude to him and the Russian man rejected to buy the watch. He was really angry and he told him “Russia no good man”. Later they severely argued to each other before the Russian man threw a chair on him. Later he stabbed the Russian man injured before he fled away and he left the knife in to the sea. Later he had hidden in the hotel before he decided to surrender the police.


Pol.Col.Suppatee said that the man became the watch vendor for 7 years and he was arrested on charge of attacking people once. However the police officers aimed to clamp down those vendor who always attacked the foreigners.
