Motorbike Taxi Sets Bike On Fire

A motorbike taxi rider who was refused his documents and yellow number plate because he was behind on his monthly payments sets his bike on fire.

PATTAYA – October 2nd 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 1.30 p.m., Pol.Lt.(Woman) Chorphaka Prueksachart (Inquiry official of Pattaya City police station, Chon Buri province) was notified that a motorbike was on fire in front of the Pattaya Motor City shop located at a side of Sukhumvit road.


At the scene the police found some employees of the shop trying to extinguish the fire using extinguishers which was eventually extinguished.


Also at the scene the police found Mr. Santi Chaiyanusorn, aged 40, who was a motorbike taxi rider and the bike owner. The shop owners told police that he came to get his documents and his yellow number plate but because he was behind with his monthly payments they refused to give them to him so he set his bike of fire. He was then given a warning by police about his actions before letting him go.
