The Thaksinawat Group is a body of established and recognised artists whose works are already well received in Bangkok, and as individual artists have built up a strong following for their individual styles over the years. They specifically chose Gallery Opium to show their latest collection because of the Gallery’s proximity to the sea. They also feel the “colonial” style of the Gallery façade is well suited to their concept of “Memories by the Sea”.

The exhibition is brought together because of the strong ties these artists have for the sea, and their respective feelings are reflected in the diverse impressions of the work on show.
