Man Snatched Bag Containing 115,000 Baht In Pattaya

A man who was crossing the road in north Pattaya to deposit some money in the bank had his bag snatched by a passing villain riding a motorbike. The bag contained 115,000 baht and the villain quickly fled the scene without a trace.

PATTAYA – July 16, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 12.00 pm Pol.Maj.Chaliao Boonkhum-investigation inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a thief had snatched a bag from a victim in front of Kasikorn bank, north Pattaya. After notification the police officers rushed to the scene.

 

At the scene the officers found Mr Krit Kanjanaprapat a 42 year old fresh food trader waiting for the police. He told the police that he was taking 115,000 baht to deposit in the bank and while he was walking across the road a man in blue shirt, long black trousers and a full crash helmet rode past him and snatched his bag which contained the money, 3 passbooks, 3 credit cards, a cell phone and some official documents. The villain then fled in the direction of North Pattaya road.

 

After questioning the victim about the identity of the villain the police then sent his description to a police team who unfortunately couldn’t find him so the police took the victim to police station in order to record the incident.
