Man Found Dead In Pattaya Pool

A drunken man who swam in a pool was found drowned. It is expected that he drowned due to cramp or exhaustion.

PATTAYA– October 18, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 pm Pol.Lt.Boonlai Ineium investigation inspector of Huay Yai police station- were notified that somebody had drowned in a pool. After notification the police officers and Sawang Borriboon rescue team rushed to inspect the scene.

 

At the scene was a pool which was 50 metres wide, 200 metres long with a depth of 6 metres. Upon questioning Mr.Sutad Janthana aged 33 he revealed that he was fishing with his friends when Mr.Boonsong Basri aged 47 a navy veteran told him that he would go swimming. But Mr.Sutad tried to stop him because he was drunk. Mr. Boonsong didn’t listen and jumped into the pool. He later grew tired and drowned so Mr.Sutad and friends decided to notify the police.

 

The divers had searched him for an hour and found the deceased and sent the body to Bang Lamung hospital. It is expected that he drowned because of exhaustion or cramp.
