Man Caught After Shooting Teacher In Pattaya

A gunman who shot at a marching band teacher and student has been caught while he was driving along a Pattaya road with his family. In the car the police found a modified shotgun and charged him with attempted murder.

PATTAYA – August 25, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 16.00 pm Pol.Maj.Pakpoom Nakpanom-investigation inspector of Bang Lamung police station- had patrolled around looking for a silver-bronze Honda car which the driver had shot at a group of students and teachers on Sukhumwit road, Central Pattaya. Therefore he notified police officers from Pattaya police station to stop this car before arresting the shooter in Soi Thaiudom alley, North Pattaya.

 

The driver was identified as a Mr Sombat Jaideaw aged 34 who was a construction contractor. In the car was his wife, kid and another employee. Also in the car the police found a modified shotgun so the police confiscated it for evidence. Mr.Sombat had previously shot at a car on August 18th and Mr.Saroj Boonmuang a 27 year old marching band teacher had been shot and injured, also Ms,Amita Klaidang aged 19 a student had been cut from the flying glass. The reason for the shooting was because Mr.Saroj beeped his horn at him. However Mr.Sombat wouldn’t said anything to the police so the charged him with attempted murder.
