Man Arrested For Pickpocketing At A Funeral In Nontaburi

54 year-old Mr. Wichean Khiewtong was arrested for allegedly pickpocketing guests at a funeral he wasn’t invited to.

NONTHABURI – September 24, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; A police spokesperson revealed that Mr. Wichean infiltrated a funeral that was held at a temple in Bangkok, not long after the funeral had finished, a woman had called up local police after she noticed that her handbag that contained her Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphone was missing. Mr. Wichean was identified after CCTV cameras were able to film his act stealing the handbag, he was arrested as soon as the arrest warrant was issued.

Mr. Wichean confessed he was doing this kind of crime for over 4 years, he said that he’d sell the stolen goods and use it for his personal entertainment. However, he is now in Police custody and will now be charged for his allegation.
