Latest Update Of Foreign Man Rampage At Pattaya Police Station

Police officers reveal the update of the case where a New Zealand man went on a rampage at Pattaya police station because he was unhappy with their progress with the burglary of his apartment.

PATTAYA – Recently [Pattaya Daily News] according to the case that Mr.Timothy John Ward aged 49 from New Zealand had 1 million baht and 1 kilogram of gold stolen so he scolded the police at police station. Plus he hit Mr.Choktawee Promsalee aged 46 who was local reporter. The foreign man also slapped his face.

 

On 11 November Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-acting superintendent of Pattaya police station-revealed that on the 28th of September Mr.Timothy notified the police that his apartment had been burgled and around 4 million baht worth of valuables had been taken. Later the officials went to inspect his house where they found drug equipment in his house to which he denied and said the police put it there so he requested a drug test to which Mr Timothy passed.

 

Pol.Col.Suppatee revealed that Mr.Timothy was unhappy with the way the police handled the issue and didn’t think the police were doing enough to help him. The police expected that the drug equipment was planted by the thief who robbed Mr.Timothy’s house. Later Mr.Timothy posted his story on Facebook and he claimed that Thai police put the drugs in his room in order to take money from him. The police insisted that they hadn’t done it and summoned him to talk about it. They then asked him to delete the post, otherwise he will be prosecuted on charge of defaming, so he deleted the post.

 

However the police researched Mr.Timothy further and found out that he had illegally loaned money in his homeland. Plus the officers will check to see if he had illegally immigrated Thailand or not. Plus the police will send him back to his home country because he is a dangerous person.
