Latest Update of Danish Girl Raped In Cassava Field in Pattaya

Reporters have revealed that the Danish woman who was raped in a cassava field was also robbed of 23,000 THB.

PATTAYA– Recently [Pattaya Daily News]; regarding the case that a fake motorcycle taxi rider raped a Danish girl in a cassava field and robbed her of 23,000 THB. On the 27th September at 18.00 pm. Initially the relatives decided to notify the police.

 

On 30 September at 11.00 am Pol.Lt.Gen.Thanet Pinmuangngam-commander-, Pol.Maj.Gen.Surapol Wiratyosin-deputy commander-, Pol.Maj.Gen.Chettha Komolwattana-superintendent- and police officers had together discussed and separated the tasks to the officers.

 

Pol.Maj.Gen.Surapol revealed that after the incident the police commander had summoned all investigation inspectors in the area to discuss the case. However he couldn’t disclose all the information because the rapist might be following the news.

 

Reporters revealed that on the incident day Ms Jennay a 23 year old Danish girl went to work in Na Jom Tien (district near Pattaya). After she had finished work she withdrew money from an ATM when a man who pretended to be a motorcycle taxi rider told her he could take her back home. She then accepted the offer and decided to go with him. Whilst on the back of the motorbike the man rode in the wrong direction and she knew something was wrong and tried to jump off but was riding too fast. He then took her into a cassava field where raped her and took the 23,000THB she had withdrew from the ATM. He then threatened her not tell anyone.

 

The rapist then took her to a crowded place where she jumped off and shouted for help but he quickly fled the scene. Some local people helped her and took her to hospital before contacting her relatives.

 

In addition the police found a black shirt which contained hairs so it was sent for DNA. Plus the officers had collected all the CCTV along the road that the rapist went to try and find his identity. The police have now asked for an arrest warrant from the court.
