Lady Boy Thieves Arrested In Pattaya

Pattaya police made a statement after they had arrested 2 lady boys who were wanted for snatching belongings from foreigners in Walking Street.

PATTAYA – February 22,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 17.00 pm Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang-superintendent of Pattaya police station-, Pol.Lt.Col.Somparn Suksamran-deputy inspector-, Pol.Lt.Col.Pawatchai Sudsakorn-deputy superintendent0-, Pol.Lt.Col.Sathaporn Sanguansuk-inspector- and police officers made a statement about the arrest of Mr.Chayarat Mattiko aged 24 and Mr.Itthipol Sichumpon aged 21 who were lady boys and they were wanted by the Pattaya court for robbery.

 

On the 19th February Mr.Pramod Jaiswal aged 56 from India and Mr.Egor Tsymbalov aged 25 from Russia notified the police that they were walking in Walking Street, South Pattaya when they were befriended by two lady boys who hugged them and took their belongings before fleeing the scene. The police officers expected that the snatchers were part of the same gang who have targeted many foreigners in the same area.

The police officers investigated and found out that the snatchers were Mr.Chayarat Mattiko and Mr.Itthipol who worked in a cabaret show café. Later the police officers showed the suspects pictures to the victims and the victims confirmed that they were the offenders . Therefore the police officers collected all the evidence before asking for a court order to arrest them. Later the police officers went to arrest them at the pub where they worked.

 

Upon questioning them they denied the allegations; however, the police officers found out that they had robbed foreigner in Pattaya before and hid in Udornthani province before coming back to rob foreigners again.
