Jet Ski Crashes Into Deck Chairs Injuring 2 On Pattaya Beach

An Indian man who was riding a Jet ski at speed lost control hitting a swimmer in the swimming zone before mounting the beach crashing into the deck chairs injuring another on Pattaya beach.

PATTAYA – November 19,2014 [Pattaya Daily News] at 18.30 pm Pol.Lt.Yom Prommasart-inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a jet ski had crashed injuring a tourist on South Pattaya beach. After notification the police and Sawang Borriboon rescue team rushed to the scene.

 

At the scene the officials found a Middle Eastern man who was injured. He had suffered a broken mouth, cheek, shoulder and right rib. Also the officials found another man who was identified as Mr.Hesham M Mahmoud a 55 year old from America. Therefore the officials had to perform first aid on them before sending them to the hospital.

In addition there was red-white Jet ski on the beach near the injured men and the Jet ski had crashed into the beach beds damaging them. Mr.Anurag aged 30 from India who was riding the jet ski was waiting for the police.

 

Upon questioning MRs.Chaliew Poolsakit aged 40 who was Jet Ski owner he said that Mr.Anurag previously rented the Jet ski from her for half an hour. Plus she told him to ride it in the correct area. Upon inspecting the Jet ski it was slightly damaged. Mrs.Pannee Tanngam aged 46 a beach operator revealed that she witnessed Mr.Anurag riding the Jet ski at speed in and out of the swimming area between the pontoons. He then lost control and collided with a Middle eastern man who was swimming and also crashed into Mr Hesham who was sitting on the beach.

Initially the officers took Mr.Hesham to questioned in more detail at the police station in order to investigate the real cause of accident.
