Iranian Man Arrested After Drugging Hotel Cashier In Pattaya

An Iranian man has been arrested after he drugged a hotel cashier before trying to steel belongings from the hotels lockers.

PATTAYA – December 13,2014 [Pattaya Daily News] at 05.00 am Pol.Lt.Siradet Chamnankit-inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a foreigner had drugged a cashier and broken into a locker to steal some belongings. Fortunately he was caught at the crime scene in the Prima Place apartment. After notification the police officers rushed to inspect the scene.


At the crime scene the employees where holding onto the foreigner and there was also a screwdriver and 2 cups of coffee which were expected to be laced with sleeping pills. The thief was identified as a MR.SAED MIRHOSSEINI aged 46 from Iran. The officials checked the CCTV and found out that he had committed the offence. Plus Ms.Chantana Sopha the 30 year old cashier was drugged so the officials sent her to Bang Lamung hospital.

Upon questioning Mr.Saring Thepnatim aged 37 an employee she told police that MR.SAED MIRHOSSEINI had rented a room for a day and he had to check out in the afternoon of the incident day. Previously MR.SAED MIRHOSSEINI had tried to befriend Ms.Chantana and he had brought some drinks and 2 cups of coffee for Ms.Chantana. Later Mr.Saing noticed something was wrong in the cup that he gave to Ms.Chantana. Later Ms.Chantana started to feel dizzy so Mr Saing kept his the eyes on MR.SAED and watched him break into a locker so he shouted out loud at him and held him until the police arrived.
