Vila wan-the local water supplier-revealed that they have also seen their demand double from 200 buckets per day to 400 buckets per day. Their trucks are out all day delivering until 8pm and some orders have to be postponed to the next day because they are so busy. However, the hot weather is good for business but some producers are under pressure to meet the demand and they may not take the time to clean the filters which could lead to some of the water being contaminated with bacteria which may lead to consumers falling ill.
