Grocery Store Owner AssaultedA Thai couple who run a grocery were threatened before being attacked by a Thai who warned them not to sell certain things.
PATTAYA – September 27,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 00.01 am Pol.Capt.Teerapong Ongart- deputy inspector of Bang lamung police station- was notified that a man had been attacked in his grocery shop. After notification the police officers and a rescue team rushed to the scene.
At the scene the officers found Mr.Kittichai Chuetrakool aged 47 and his wife waiting for the police. The man had sustained an injury to his left hand and had bruises all over his body.
Upon questioning Mr.Kittichai and his wife they told police that they were in a shop when a Thai man walked into the shop and hit Mr.Kittichai with a bottle before punching him many times. He then shot into the air with a gun before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle. Mr.Kittichai’s wife then told police that she had been threatened by a group of Thai men to stop selling stuff like pillows and fried durian on September 25th.
Initially, the police officers inspected the scene and found a spent bullet shell which they kept for evidence. However, the police officers are now hunting for the man.
