Gas Leak At Laem Chabang Port Causes Evacuation

There has been a gas leak at Laem Chabang port. The officers had to evacuate people out of the port and nearby areas after some students fell unconscious because they had inhaled the gas.

Sri Racha-July 17, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- Pol.Col.Autthasit Kitjaharn-superintendent of Laem Chabang police station- revealed to Thairath online reporters that there was a gas leak in Laen Chabang port. After notification the police officers rushed to the scene.

 

At the scene B3 port there was a smell of gas in and around the area . The officers closed off the area to traffic and people. Also the officers evacuated villagers in Ban Namai , Laem Chabang and 26 students from the Laem Chabang 2 school after they had lost consciousness and were sent to Sri Racha hospital and Ao udom hospital.

 

However The gas leaks source was still unknown but the officers said they had the situation under control.
