French Man Kills Son Before Taking His Own Life in Pattaya

A French man killed his son before he committed suicide in a room in Jomtien. It’s expected that he was depressed because his wife had divorced him because he always assaulted her.

PATTAYA – July 7, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 14.00 pm. Pol.Lt.Col.Chalermkiet Sirimak-investigation inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that there had been a murder in Park lane Jomtien Residence condominium. After notification he was accompanied with Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-deputy commander of Chonburi and acting superintendent of Pattaya police station-, police officers, Bang Lamung doctors and Sawnag Borriboon Thamma Satharn rescue team who rushed to the scene.

 

At the scene a 6 floor condominium in the room no.405 they found the body of a Thai-French boy who was identified as Master.Orent dead on the floor with a plastic bag over his head. He had also suffered a fractured skull and his neck had a 10cm slash wound. In addition they found a naked body of Mr.Yonatan Kerner 29 year old from France dead beside the bed with a rubber rope tied around his neck. It’s expected they might have been dead for 3 days. Upon inspecting the room the officers found knives, a syringe and “NEMBUTAL 100 ML” an anaesthetic drug on the desk.

Upon questioning the housekeeper she said that a bad smell was coming from the room so she decided to notify the police. It’s expected that Mr.Yonatan killed his son before committing suicide after his wife divorced him 3 months ago because he had always attacked her. She notified the police and escaped to her hometown in Nakorn Ratchasima and left the son with Mr.Yonatan. Later he was stressed and depressed so he decided to kill his son by drugging him before smashing his head on the floor and slashing his neck. After that he hung himself with a wire in the bath room but the wire was torn so he covered his head with a plastic bag and tied the rubber rope around his neck. However the police officers sent the bodies for an autopsy at the forensics police hospital before notifying the French embassy.
