Four Years In Prison For Mob LeaderMob leader who obstruct ASEAN Summit 2009 went to Pattaya court to listen to sentence. He was sentenced to hail 4 years.
PATTAYA-21 March-[PattayaDailyNews]; at 09.30am Mr Arisman Pongruangrong, former representative of Phuethai party, went to Pattaya court to listen to court sentence in case that he and his men led a large mob to surround Royal Cliff Beach resort during ASEAN Summit 2009. Firstly, the court rejected bailing out for the suspects.
Later the lawyer requested to bail out Mr Arisman with 2 million baht and other 12 men consisted of Mr Nisit Sinthuprai, Mr Payub Pungate, Mr Worachai Hema, Mr Wanchana Kerddee, Mr Pichet Sukjindathong, Mr Sakda Noppasit, Pol Lt Col Waipod Aparat, Mr Nopporn Namchiangtai, Mr Samreng Prachamrua, Mr Somyod Promma, Dr Wallop Yangtrong and Mr Singtong Buachum who were bailed out with 800,000 baht.
Mr Arisman was accompanied with 30 relatives who came to support him. He was sentenced to jail for 4 years, however his lawyer already offered 2 million baht to bail him out and the court is considering.
