Foreign Thief Plundered Money Exchange Shop

A foreign man plundered money exchange shop owned by deputy chief of Nong Prue district.

PATTAYA – 8 February – [Pattaya Daily News] at 09:00 pm Pol. Maj. Col. Pitak Nernsaeng -inspector of Pattaya police station – was notified that Rachata Money Exchange office has been plundered. After notification the police officers immediately rushed to inspect the crime scene.

At the crime scene they’ve found Mr. Suwat Rachatawattanakul, aged 58 who was deputy mayor of Nong Prue district. Upon questioning Mr. Suwat, he said that he went to meet his relatives in the shop as he always did,but suddenly a tall man in black suit wearing helmet, pointed a gun at him and forced him to get in to the shop.

 

Later he pointed the gun to the people in the office and told them to sit down. He took about 200,000 baht after he quickly drive away on a motorcycle.

Pol. Col. Suktad said that the CCTV recorded the whole incident. Initially, he ordered the officers to investigate and identify the villain in order to hunt him down and prosecute further according to Thai Law.
